Syra Mehdi (President, Founder)

Syra Mehdi is a Northeastern University graduate with a degree in behavioral neuroscience. She is fascinated by the intersection between arts and science and holds a specific passion for the art of medicine. When Syra is not taking classes, she hosts the “Singing Brain” for One Planet Education Network.

George Newman (Founder)

George Newman is the founder and CEO of One Planet Education Network, LLC (OPEN), our partner organization. OPEN is a mission-driven social enterprise that develops STEM+ Project-Based Learning that joins together students and their underserved communities around the world offering community-based programs, supporting technologies and digital literacy training services. Newman has over 35 years of experience in the fields of information and Internet technologies and technology-based education program development.

Matthew Petrocelli (Director of Communications)

Matthew Petrocelli graduated from Northeastern University in 2023 and is pursuing osteopathic medical school. He is passionate about endocrine health and the power of lifestyle modifications within medicine. For fun, Matthew enjoys running and is a competitive marathoner. He hopes to contribute to HealthRight’s mission to strengthen subspecialty care internationally, particularly endocrinology.

Dr. James Sirleaf (Consultant)

Dr. James A. Sirleaf is an emergency medicine physician in Columbus, Georgia and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Veterans Affairs Connecticut Healthcare System-West Haven and Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. He received his medical degree from Meharry Medical College and has been in practice for more than 20 years.

Adesola Dada (Recruiter)

Adesola Dada has been a registered nurse for over 40 years. In addition to his service to the healthcare field, he is also the owner and CEO os Vision Telecommunication Technologies Limited, an ICT Technology Company in Nigeria.
